Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the McKnight Mortgage Intelligence API and website at mcknight-mortgageos.pages.dev (the "Service"), a McKnight Opportunity Group platform operated by RJ Business Solutions ("we", "us"). By creating an account, generating an API key, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service provides software tools for mortgage professionals and product teams: borrower prequalification scoring, automated underwriting system (AUS) guideline simulations, TRID-based closing cost estimation, compliance-timing calculators, and lead scoring.

Important: AUS results are guideline simulations for educational and pre-screening purposes only. They are NOT official Desktop Underwriter® (DU®) or Loan Product Advisor® (LPA®) findings, and do not constitute a loan approval or commitment to lend. Desktop Underwriter® and DU® are registered trademarks of Fannie Mae. Loan Product Advisor® and LPA® are registered trademarks of Freddie Mac. McKnight MortgageOS and its operators are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.

All outputs — including qualification scores and closing-cost figures — are estimates based on published agency guidelines and standard calculations. They are not financial, legal, or lending advice, and must not be represented to consumers as loan decisions, approvals, or official disclosures.

You must provide accurate company and contact information. You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys; anything done with your keys is attributed to your account. Notify us immediately of suspected compromise and we will rotate keys.

One Sandbox account per organization/email. We may suspend accounts that abuse the free tier (e.g., multiple accounts to evade quotas).

Current plans and prices are published at /pricing: Sandbox ($0, 25 prequal + 5 AUS runs/month), Starter ($299/mo), Professional ($999/mo), and Enterprise (custom, from $2,500/mo). Overage rates apply as published. Annual billing includes 2 months free.

Usage is metered per API call. Quotas reset monthly. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; changes apply at your next billing cycle.

You agree not to: (a) use outputs as, or represent them as, official AUS findings, loan approvals, or consumer disclosures; (b) use the Service in violation of ECOA, RESPA, TILA/TRID, fair-lending, or other applicable law; (c) reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except under a written Enterprise agreement; (d) submit data you lack the right to process; (e) attempt to disrupt or overload the Service.

You retain all rights to data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service (compute results, meter usage, store request history for your account). See our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GUIDELINES CHANGE; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL OUTPUTS AGAINST OFFICIAL SOURCES BEFORE RELYING ON THEM IN ANY LENDING DECISION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA.

You may cancel anytime; paid periods are non-refundable except where required by law. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms with notice where practicable. Sections 6–8 survive termination.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law rules.
